2024 FESTIVAL VENUES

All festival venues are currently in Telluride, within walking distance of each other. Special events take place at various locations in town.

  • Elks Lodge

    Elks Lodge

    Telluride Elks Lodge, in the historic Swede-Finn Hall, hosts new and established festival events. Just a couple blocks from downtown and the Palm.


  • Palm Theatre

    Palm Theatre

    587 SEATS
    The Palm Theatre is the festival's largest venue, located at the Telluride High School, just a few blocks from downtown.

  • Sheridan Opera House

    Sheridan Opera House

    230 SEATS
    Built in 1913, the historic Sheridan Opera House is the heart of the festival, across from the courthouse on Telluride's main street. Look for the winged gargoyle on the rooftop.

  • "THE BLOB"

    120 SEATS
    Next door to the Palm at Telluride High School, The Bob (a black box theater) is suitably named "The Blob" for Telluride Horror Show and will replace the Nugget Theatre for 2024.

  • "HORROR VAULT"

    60 SEATS
    Located in the program room at Wilkinson Public Library in downtown Telluride, the "Horror Vault" hosts free retro screenings on glorious 16mm film.


  • Nugget Theatre

    Nugget Theatre

    The Nugget Theatre, our longtime venue and local movie theater, is currently closed for renovations. The Horror Show will return to the Nugget when it reopens!
